I know. I don't think she's telling individuals to fix things. Her campaigns are more trying to drive action at government level, bringing down the emissions in the west, so that developing countries can have some basics and grow. But also, trying to help them develop in a sustainable way. This is some of the kind of nitty gritty that she won't discuss though.

Turns out the interview has been edited in the online version to literally cut out every single thing I moaned about in my article. Looks like the BBC thought those bits were pretty dire too. The rest isn't so bad.
