I just want to clarify that 'earnt' is British. I do try to remember that Americans cannot get their heads around British spellings on Medium, but sometimes I forget. And sometimes I just prefer to write British. Because I'm British. I've now been told off twice for spelling earnt the common British way, so I refuse to change my headline on principle. Because America is not the centre of the universe. Ha! 😉
