I have this problem with car engines left idling outside my house. It's not that noisy, so I should be able to ignore it, but it drives me crazy. I have a lot of autistic traits, but don't know if I'm autistic. I had an assessment and even the assessor didn't know and put it down to childhood trauma. I say, I'm borderline.
