I have a suspicion that they allocate earnings to reads until someone's fee is spent, and thereafter the subsequent reads earn nothing. I notice that there are fewer 1 cent earnings on stories now... if you look at the PP earnings. I think they might have started allocating higher amounts for reads, but the money is running out before the end of the month. Could be wrong, but it's either that, or they literally appear to have no control over the payment system.
