I had one where the pictures disappeared, and I thought she hadn't added any, but when I went back in there was a whole other load underneath that had disappeared. Anyway, it was fine, but seemed glitchy when I first tried to view it.

In terms of submitting and pulling, I guess if someone has submitted and then decided they're not sure and want to edit again, or think about it, they might submit then back out, and do it again.

I also used to submit to two publications and pull whichever one didn't publish first - but I've stopped doing that now. I was just tired of no one publishing, so I'd double the chance, and then if one published, I'd pull and resubmit the second one the next day.

The other thing people might dither about, is whether your publication is the right one for their story. They might have a sudden change of mind. But admittedly, it's odd to do this repeatedly.
