I had no idea that you had to write 800 words to be distributed. It's interesting that you find you don't get traction, except when publishing through publications. A lot of people do well without them. Distribution doesn't seem to add much to the success of my stories anyway. Just post when you want to. You appear to have got into the MPP, so it's not all that bad.
