I get the reaction, but it's possible she might prefer to work than to sit at home all day resting - not just for the money but because it provides a sense of purpose. I do understand what you're saying though. We've got money out of proportion. I don't earn much, but I've got myself where I want to be, so it doesn't matter. That was always the goal.
