I find it hard to understand people who behave like this. When I first saw pictures and asked the agent to speak to the tenants about looking after the place, the tenants acted all offended. Said, 'It's our home!' Like, of course they were looking after it. Until the rent went up to market rates, then they moved out like a shot. Because of course, they'd trashed it and could get something in nicer condition. It makes us reluctant to let again though. Now we're doing it up to sell.
