I don't shy away from saying I'm British, so am I proud? Not sure! I just am. There are much worse places to live and much worse governmental structures to live under. And I'm with you on the Roman invasion thing. I've previously said, 'The Romans invaded England but I don't hate all Italian people'. That was in response to... well you can probably guess.
