I don't really feel strongly about it, but can see merit in King Charles' idea of a slimmed down royal family, and perhaps looking at whether the public need to fund quite so much. Victoria Suzanne wrote a good piece about the tourist thing - not sure I entirely agree with her view that they only come to see the palaces - I think they come to see the marching men too. It wouldn't be the same if it was just buildings. But I don't know. It wouldn't affect me personally, either way.
