I don't know what you did, but you can only say sorry and try to do better in future. If people understand you have genuine remorse, I feel they should be forgiving - I'm assuming someone was put out by your bad thing. Just apologise and learn. We all do things we regret. That's all any of us can do. Unless there's a way to put things right, of course.
