I don't know what happened. Sometimes stats take a while to show, but it does look suspicious. I realised I was clicking out quickly when I went to pick up people's stories to recommend them. I think there's a 5 second allowance for that when it doesn't register as a read, but there are real reasons people might view without deliberately harming your read ratio... recommending your story and needing to go and grab the link is one of them...

Trying to see if they've already read it, by clapping and realising they clapped last time is another - although they might stay around anyway, if they wanted to make sure the RR wasn't affected.

But my point is, it's not necessarily deliberately shitty. Maybe tomorrow they'll recommend your story on theirs and all will become clear.
