I don't know. I think that would just be another excuse to divert funds from writers to pay members of the writers' panel. Like the boosting has done. Medium Help gets reports on what's going on and issues. The CEO reads articles about our problems. They know what's going on. They don't always communicate well, but I think it's better that those communications come from the source, rather than from members of some outside writers' panel. If Medium members then want to put their own spin on it, that's fine.
If it's an issue of reporting faults, there could be a dedicated 'reporting faults and issues' messaging service or something, I guess.
