I don't know. It's the read time that matters the most, so if they read and clap once, it might count towards earnings. You can tell by looking at your stats if you have low reads that day. You can see if the one person who clapped also registered as a read, or just as a view. It's really interesting to see what's going on sometimes. :) You can also see what their read is worth. Remember some people don't know you can clap more than once. It took me about 3 months to work it out.
