I di get them on the email and it was a bit of a misunderstanding, in the sense that I'd added the author's websites below each of their quotes to do them a favour (link to their books), and the editor thought this was me saying it was the source of the quotes. I can understand the logic, but it would have been nice to have been able to respond (which I couldn't, because the piece had been rejected). Anyway, I wasn't standing for that nonsense, so I got hold of them by email. :-)
