I could write back and say that as they accepted a bank statement from you, would they accept one from me... I don't know though. The last thing the Customer Service lot sent me, told me the restrictions on my account had been removed. But they haven't. So if I try again, I'll be jumping through hoops, with people who don't speak English again. Easier to wait for my ID to arrive to be honest. I've spent hours trying to communicate with them, and they don't seem to realise that one account is restricted, while the other one isn't.
