I can report that my new little publication is working really well so far. No hassle. Everyone has complied with the rules. It's completely different running a publication where people use their own pics. It's a pleasure.

So as for editing... I tidy up their sub heads because some of them don't know there's a sub-head format thing. I make sure there's a pic at the top of the story because the story is about the pic, so we want to see that first.

And if there's no errors, I'll let it go as it is. It's their work, their style. Today, I pondered over whether to turn a subhead into sentence case instead of title case. I think sentence case is better. But I checked the writer's feed and all her subtitles are title case, so I respected her consistency and published it as it stood.
