I assume you mean greyed out, which I suggested ages ago to prevent deliberate bot behaviour, but actually, the read ratio is affected only by the read time. It makes no difference whether someone claps in those 29 seconds or not. It may piss you off, but it's not changing your earnings. It's the diving away before time that changes your earnings.
