I apologise if it hurt you. I was just reporting the news. I thought it was an interesting point of discussion. Do you not think a separate category in sports would overcome all issues surrounding people with different strengths due to their biology at birth?

It works for the Paralympic games and no one is offended by that separation, designed to give each competitor a fair chance.

I suspect you didn't read all the comments. Two commentators took a different view. One said, "Trans women who never went through male puberty would probably be fine to compete with biological women."

Another said: "Trans women are women."
