I agree. Too often, I publish first, tinker with title afterwards. Really should do tinkering first (before publish) because the first version is what is delivered to people's inboxes! I use my own pics which limits the scope of brilliance but is safer. I haven't seen a difference in reads because I use my own pics. Actually reads have gone up but I think that's just due to time and perseverence.
