I agree, but the thing that made me want to buy stuff when I was younger, was peer pressure to fit in, not advertising. There was nothing like feeling like a misfit to make you want stuff. If kids would stop being so cliquey and so cruel, maybe we could all survive and ignore the advertising. But kids are horrible. :)
