I actually like Grammarly basic, not because I use it a lot, but because it can weed out the odd typo in books. BUT when Illumination told me to correct 83 'problems' identified by Pro-Writing Aid, I was amazed, and honestly wish I'd said no. But I was new, and compliant. There wasn't a single thing wrong with my piece - it'd been previously published in a gardening magazine who paid £240 for the privilege. The software simply preferred active voice. I'd used passive voice a lot. I HATE Pro-writing Aid. Welcome to the club.

ps. I am a pro writer. I don't need an aid.
