Haha. I love this account of your lives. My husband went part-time years ago and was talking about early retirement, which I wasn't keen on if he was just going to spend all day on Twitter!

I wasn't sure how I felt about his increased presence two days a week. I was used to having the house to myself while I worked on my writing. But the part-time thing worked out OK. It actually reduced my feelings of loneliness.

Then he stayed home full-time during the pandemic and never went back. I think doing it gradually helped, and I was just pleased he was safe during the pandemic. He works in his study and I in mine, so we don't really get on each other's nerves during the day.
