It was enlightening to see those figures though. I had wondered why our earnings were often very similar, when you were getting 3x the number of comments on your stories.

It was a light bulb moment. And explains the weird earnings on some of my own stories.

I might dive into some of my lowest ever earning stories, like 6 cents, and see if the 6 readers were all regulars.

EDIT: I had a look at a 3 cent story — my worst performer. It allegedly had 9 reads, and the two that made themselves known were regular readers. At least things have improved since then. 😆
