Gosh. Poor guy. I feel sorry for both of you. He sounds like the architect of his own problems - but then so are most people. He sounds like he's horrible to you, but he also sounds desperately in need.

I can understand someone whose back pain prevents him from staying in one position for very long. I can also understand that it must be very difficult to find employment when you don't have a home. I expect no one will employ him because he's a bum.

He obviously does need help. And some kind of job that suits his needs. I wish he was a bit kinder to you, so that you felt inclined to help him sort himself out, but if he's being like that, I can understand you not wanting to hear from him.

I hope you both work something out, and he gets some help from elsewhere.
