Good for you. In the UK, everyone gets to retire when they reach pension age, regardless of circumstances or life decisions. I mean, people can keep working if they want to, but the state pension should cover the basics. My mother-in-law who only worked full-time until she was 21, manages to afford an army of servants on her state pension. 😆
