Funny thing is, there is science to back up some of it. The Gerson Therapy studies, for a start. Small samples, but very scientific. They were however doing liver juice and coffee enemas that my husband didn't want to engage in. So we've devised our own thing based on a mix of anecdotal and scientific evidence, and so far, it's working, although we've since asked the specialist and sometimes this happens - maybe among those people who went on weird therapies? Of course the medics wouldn't ask about such things. :)

Brown rice and water sounds very unhealthy for a long time. OK for a week to help weed out an allergy, but you'd end up with scurvy if you did it for long... and a load of other problems.

Your late response and thoughts are welcome! :) Thank you.
