For me, it was the only way to get a pay rise. If I didn't keep moving, my pay would shrink. Maybe that means I'm not a good employee, but hey, I am what I am. I work hard and fast, and I'm focused. If people don't like it - and I do rub people up the wrong way - then maybe it's just as well I'm self-employed because the person who benefits from my work ethic is me.
