FOM pays writers you read, so it doesn't necessarily improve the income for their friend, although some people say it does due to mutual read backs. My January wasn't bad, but noticeably lacked any boosts. As you say, if I publish less, there's less chance of something doing well, either through the boost or organically. So I think I'll try to stick to daily publishing.
