Don't be nervous. It's a fair question. I think checking out people's work helps us find stuff we enjoy. That can happen for people who comment on your stories, or just anyone who appears on your feed. Engagement is a way of getting noticed and might result in a new 'fan' or reader, but ultimately, we're only going to be drawn to people over and over again if we enjoy their work and their headlines appeal. Otherwise, it's all a bit fake and pointless.
