Couldn't you skip the spa days for your kitties. Cats clean themselves. They don't need baths. They won't smell if you leave them alone because they are excellent self-cleaners. We don't have these things in the UK. Their claws shouldn't need trimming. They naturally wear them down. I've heard of them being de-clawed in the US. That's horrendous! And why would the poor thing need shaving? I'm with the cats. How about, rather then becoming resigned to the fate, not doing it?
