By the top 1% I mean the writers with hundreds of thousands of followers who were taking home huge sums for every story, while the rest of us struggled to get more than a dollar. The changes to make it more fair are why many of the top writers left. They were used to earning a LOT. Then it changed.

But as you say, you're not one of those, so I don't understand why you're experiencing a drop. I've had a distinct lack of viral stories, but not much else has changed, except that I think we're all getting a little better paid at the low end. I have fewer stories that earn less than a dollar than I did.
