Brilliant! I'd intended to go there after visiting writer Charles Kingsley's house in Clovelly, but we ran out of time and haven't got round to it yet. He wrote about Westward Ho, but my guess is it was more scenic then. I assume the concrete wall is a flood defence, but share your dislike of them.
