I was interested to read your perceptions of middle class, because I suppose I think of myself as middle class, but then the people you describe I'd say are upper class, so maybe that makes me working class. I don't know. I've always worked, so maybe it's me that was getting above my station!

It's one of those outdated concepts here in the UK that not a lot of people pay much attention to these days.

I'm sorry you feel church circles don't really get you and don't seem to want to.
