Apparently, mentioning famine in Africa 'invalidates' other people's problems. And not everyone can see the bright side, due to their depression. So I toned down the title (the blues), added a disclaimer that some people might need meds, and explained that I'm not suggesting everyone makes the same comparisons. Given as I know nothing about who's reading, my assessment of their problems seems remarkable, but that's negative ninnies for you. I nearly posted a shortform (and a longer piece) about it, but haven't dared to publish either yet.
