Ahh cavity wall insulation. Yes, that's what we've got too. Good to hear there's no settling, as I've often wondered, especially since we've had water coming in through one of those walls in recent years and had to put a waterproof paint outside to try and waterproof the bricks against the driving rain.

What I'm wondering, is when someone doesn't have cavities in the walls. A 1900 house with solid walls, I think would be quite expensive to insulate the walls, because you'd have to either put insulation on the outside and then some kind of exterior boarding, or put insulation on the inside, plus boarding, plus re-plastering.

Good to hear you got your wall cavities filled though!
