Agreed. I don't know whether they will do it this way. It was just me thinking it through - a way that would allow people who object to any impending price rises to avoid them essentially, by choosing a basics package. But yes, it wouldn't suit everyone.

I actually think the management are resistant to charging writers to be members of the partner program, but I know some writers feel strongly that writers who earn should be members. We'll see.
