Absolutely - in fact, I'd argue that copying and pasting extracts into shortform breaks the duplicate content rule.

BTW, it was interesting to see on your article that you think most people read on their phones. I read somewhere it was about 50:50. So I try to cater for both - keeping paragraphs short but not ridiculously short.

Oh, and then someone argued that mine weren't long enough on my article. :-)
