A lot of my stories tank and I've reassessed my activities here recently. Decided to read on weekends and try to focus on the day job in the week day. I was spending too much time here to the detriment of my income. I had this idea I could scale it up, but it's not happening. All the same things you experience. My best stories tank. Some shit stories rise to the top.

I posted one yesterday which was a quick improvement on a shortform one from a couple of years ago. I thought it was actually crap and I shouldn't have posted it, but it's been more popular than my really good stuff that's had few reads. That's frustrating.

I've needed to take stock and work out a plan for 2024 that will be different to what I've been doing in 2023.
