A couple of things here - some vegans eat eggs from backyard hens who live happy lives. Others might argue this isn't vegan, but the point is, if the animal is happy, some feel it's Ok. There's an issue about boy chickens, but I don't want to get into a big discussion. Point is, vegans aren't supposed to be buying eggs in the first place, unless you do because they're ethically raised.

If you've bought them, you should eat them because it's doubly insulting to the animal to throw their food away. Not everyone takes that view. But that's mine. It's not a conflict. It's a question of don't buy it, but if you do, eat it.
